Thomas Zasadny

Thomas runs the Premier Piano workshop. Mr. Zasadny has decades of experience in the maintenance, voicing, regulation, restoration and rebuilding of fine grand pianos. He is the main technician for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and has voiced and regulated for many of the most acclaimed concert pianists of our time.

Founded by master craftsman Thomas Zasadny and entrepreneur James Elliott, SPL Fine Musical Instruments acquires, rebuilds and sells vintage Steinway and Mason & Hamlin grand pianos.

James Elliott

James is the president of SPL Fine Musical Instruments. After graduating from Washington & Lee University with a degree in music, his first job was at the esteemed Carnegie Hall in New York City. James subsequently earned an MBA from New York University and worked as an investment banker and private equity professional. He began acquiring and restoring vintage concert grand pianos out of his love for pianos and music. James started SPL Fine Musical Instruments with Mr. Zasadny, as a company committed to acquiring and restoring the best pianos ever made.
